Something got corrupted with the theme or something when I was upgrading, thankfully I was able to save most of the site, I’ll just be customizing it again over the next few days.

Okay so I’m a few weeks late on both counts, but it’s been a little crazy since the last post.

Things of note, Christmas was spent with the girlfriend at her mom’s place with her family. It was pretty good and felt pretty natural, it’s weird how comfortable this relationship is. She was also kicked out of rez for the holidays so she’s been living with me for almost a month now, I only realized earlier this week that it’s been any kind of prolonged time. The time has simply just disappeared, I guess that shows how right this really is.

I took two weeks off at the time and pretty much stayed at home, enjoyed the time with the girlfriend and essentially geeked out. Got Dragon Age: Origins for Christmas from an awesome friend and it is one of the better RPG’s that I’ve played in recent memory. The story isn’t bad, but what I really like is the combat system. You have a party of 4, but can only control 1 at a time. Well what do the other 3 do? They do exactly what you program them to do. For example, if their own health is <50% they are supposed to use the least powerful healing potion. If their health is >50% it goes to the next line. The programmer in me saw that and drooled a little with excitement. Finally a way to automate party members so that you can focus and swap as needed. Such a great game.

The final weight count on Jan 1st was 209. Stupid holiday weight New goal is 200 by the end of March, keep in mind I’m not going at this with some hardcore tenacity but a relaxed pace. It will come in time, the goal for the end of the year (Dec 31) is going to be 190. If I can hit that, and maintain it, I’ll be a happy little boy.

New Year’s Eve consisted of 3 different events, a sushi dinner out with one group, hitting up one party with another group before ending up at a house party for the countdown. Chrystal and I arrived with 30 minutes to spare on the countdown. Pretty awesome timing I have to say. We were there chatting and just hanging around until 3:30 in the morning, I enjoy the company of those guys a lot.

Random side note: I’m starting to like Tantra, it seems to be a bar where things happen Went to see Markus Schulz a few weekends ago. These two girls were just going at it. And they didn’t even know each other before the night. The reason I know that is because my roommate is friends with one of the girl’s friends that she came with. Tall blonde and short little brunette were there like a lesbian couple, funny thing? The tall blonde had some guy she was there with, I assume boyfriend because she was trying to reassure him that nothing was a big deal right beside me. According to my roommate, they were going down on each other in the corner of a bar earlier. During one of my random glances over them, I saw a skirt and a wrist if you catch my drift. Man bars are fun

Well with that I am rambling too much and I bid everyone a great start to the new year, that this year bring you all that you want, and everything that you didn’t even think you needed.
